Sketchbook Assignment 7B

1. Graffiti/Street Art is an art form that spreads a message through an image, sculpture, etc. in a public setting.

2. An image becomes powerful when it can communicate a deeper meaning to someone and they can relate to it.

3. The difference between a graffiti wall and mural is that a graffiti wall is more abstract and unique. A mural is usually created after local government consent and they are easier to read if there are words with clearly depicted images that usually aren't abstract.

4. Simplification is taking complex objects, images, concepts, etc., and only illustrating the main idea to keep the focus on the meaning of the art.

5. Three things that I am passionate about changing in people's mind is ignorance to third world countries, keeping the innocence of children, and technology over running society.

6. Three examples of art that talks about these concepts include work by Banksy, the unknown street artist.
